About 10 months ago I got my first MRI. It found a lovely herniated disk. The machine itself felt like something from decades ago, loud, slow, and claustrophobic. Good news though, I’m much better now
I would have never expected Midjourney to be the ones building the next leap forward. Yesterday they announced a working prototype of their full-body ultrasonic scanner. You stand on a platform in a shallow pool of water, get lowered through a ring of half a million tiny transducers, and roughly 60 seconds later you have a detailed 3D map of your internal anatomy. No radiation. No magnets. No tube.
As an AI Wrangler, this feels like a meaningful step into Physical AI, moving from generating digital outputs to building systems that can sense and map the physical world with speed and detail. It’s still early (Gen 1 prototype with limited validation so far), but the contrast with my recent MRI experience is striking.
The world needs more pivots like this. What other bold shifts from digital to Physical AI are you seeing?
