Fun build night tonight in the AI Wrangler lab.
Fun build night tonight in the AI Wrangler lab. My 7-year-old just used Claude Code + Wispr Flow to build a working Pokédex app with TWO cameras and a soundboard. 🛠️🚀
He didn't type a line of code.
He talked. Wispr Flow turned his voice into prompts. Claude Code turned the prompts into a real app running on the laptop. When it didn't work, he'd say "can you make the second camera switch when I tap it?" and it would.
The part that got me: he wasn't thinking about code. He was thinking about features.
"I want two cameras so I can flip like on Pokédex in the show." "Add a soundboard with the cries." "Can Pikachu's button be yellow?"
That's a product manager. At seven years old.
A few years ago, he would've needed to learn JavaScript, React, DOM APIs, file I/O, and camera permissions just to get started. Tonight, he needed curiosity and a voice.
This is the shift. Not "AI is going to take coding jobs." That's the wrong frame.
The real shift is that the barrier between an idea and a working product just collapsed. Anyone who can talk can build. Which means builders aren't the people who learned to code — they're the people who know what to make.
My kid figured out tonight what every small business owner should be figuring out this year: the tools are here. The tools are good enough. The tools are cheap.
The only question left is: what do you want to build?
Super excited to see what the AI-native generation will be building.
And honestly? If my son can use AI at seven, you better be ready too.
