Listen up, I’ve been wrangling AI agents all week and the rodeo just got real. This week at Shoptalk made it crystal clear: Agentic commerce isn’t coming. It’s here and accelerating faster than consumer adoption.

Shopify just flipped the switch, Agentic Storefronts are now default for millions of stores. Your products can show up and sell directly inside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot conversations. No extra app. No cut to OpenAI. The storefront still matters. Platforms such as Redo are optimizing brands catalogs for AEO.

Visa dropped the Trusted Agent Protocol (co-signed by Microsoft, Shopify, Stripe). Legit agents can now initiate payments without looking like a rogue bot. The payment rails for autonomous buying are being built in real time.

Most founders are still optimizing catalogs for humans.

The smart ones are making them agent-readable, structured data, open APIs, clear trust signals.

If your product feed isn’t ready for AI agents to discover, compare, and buy autonomously… you’re about to get skipped by the new decision-makers.

I’m wrangling agents daily. The winners treat this as infrastructure, not a feature.

What’s your biggest agentic commerce headache right now, catalog structure, protocol choice, or fraud/identity guardrails?

Drop it below. Let’s wrangle this together.
